 The thing to bear in mind is what colour your car is at the moment and the one you want to cover it with. For example if you have a bright green car it is probably not wise to try and cover it with silver paint as the green will more than likely show through. In that case you could probably do with either more than one coating of silver paint, or to paint over with a more neutral colour first and then go for the silver. The great thing about painting your car, whether you do it yourself or hire some one else to do it is that you can choose a colour that reflects your personality. It also gives the metal on your car extra protection from things such as wind and rain, helping it to last longer. However you shouldn’t just use any paint to paint your car, it should be specific vehicle paint. Most car shops will sell this or if you could not have one locally then you can look online and get your new paint delivered direct to your door.
