It probably comes as no surprise that for many of us the dating game is different to that of our parents and our parents parents. Ask any of the older generation and that will tell you that dating was to lead up to marriage – which was expected. However these days it is less important to many people than it once was.

Men in particular like to get sex out of their system before that settle down with one person. This means that they just want to get laid now and then think about the person they want to settle down with later. I guess as a sweeping generalization it could be said that as a generation we are much more relaxed about sex than our elders.

The questions that many men ask themselves are how to get laid and how to get girls. Often this has nothing to do with looks at all, but more about confidence and how you carry yourself.

It is not always the good looking men that have the most ‘luck’ on a night out for example. Instead it is the men that approach the women and are not afraid to ask them out or buy them a drink. The quiet ones that wait for the women to approach them will generally have less luck.

Men of todays generation are not against marriage, it is just that they do not see it as important as it once was. For example, very rarely now will a couple still be virgins when they get married. The way that we date and the importance of marriage and babies etc will no doubt be different for future generations too. The dating world changes and adapts all the time. If men want to continue to ‘lucky’ on nights out etc then they will need to stay confident as this really is the trick to all ‘getting laid’ success stories.
