Want Buns of Steel?
Many adults are not all that happy with their buttocks and would like to tighten their butt muscles so that their clothes look and feel better, but many people falsely believe that they must join an expensive gym in order to get the results they are after.
The truth is however, that getting your butt in good shape only requires that you do a few basic exercises on a regular basis, and you can do these right at home or in the office. One of the best workouts for the buttocks that is proven to work is a simple leg lifting exercise. To do this exercise, stand upright and lift your leg up, much like a dog does when cocking its leg, keeping it bent. Lift until your thigh is nearly horizontal. Hold this position for five minutes and then do the same with your other leg. In the beginning, do this exercise five times on each side and as you progress, increase it to ten on each leg. Within just a few short weeks, you should notice that your pants fit better and that your buttocks muscles have tightened and feel harder.
The lunge is another tried and true exercise you could do on a regular basis to tone and shape your butt. To begin, stand upright with your feet at shoulder width. Place your hands on your hips and step forward with your right food to a distance of three feet. Now, lower your body and slowly lunge forward. Do not allow your knee to go out past your toes. Keep your back straight when you do this and slowly return to the upright, standing position. Repeat the lunge with your left food and alternate between the two for ten reps.
Running is another way to tighten the gluts. Running is fun, it does not cost anything and besides just toning your buttocks, you also reap enormous health benefits such as improving your cardio-vascular health.
