Both men and women suffer from cellulite, although some more than others. Although it is mainly over weight women that suffer from this annoying ailment, it can actually affect anyone.

The medical term for cellulite is adiposis edematos and refers to the bumpy layers of fat that many of us suffer from underneath our skin. Anywhere that you have fatty tissue on your body you can develop cellulite although places such as legs, thighs, stomach and bum are the most common places for it to usually be found.

It is hard to describe the look and feel of cellulite however lots of people refer to it as your skin have a cottage cheese affect or to your skin looking similar to orange peel.

If you want to avoid cellulite or reduce the look of it on your skin then there are a number of things that you can try. If you ar unsure where to start then a quick search online should give you some kind of idea. Just remember that you should always be sensible and if something sounds too good to be true then it probably is.

Options include – a cellulite fighting diet, cellulite beating creams/gels, different excercise techniques and/or cellulite busting clothes.

Of course the likelihood is that none of these will be a miracle treatment and you shouldn’t expect a change over night. You should also bear in mind that not every method works for every person, so you if one doesn’t make any improvements then you shouldn’t give up. Keep  trying because out of all the options that are available it is highly likely that one of them will work for you and help reverse/stop the affects of cellulite.

You don’t have to live with cellulite so start looking up ways to improve and avoid it now, because it will work.
